Job Summary

The Wogan Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment complex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining a positive resident experience, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the property, including buildings, grounds, and tenant units.
  • Establish and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Develop and implement work schedules and standards to meet the needs of the property.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures in all financial and clerical matters.
  • Accurately and timely maintain the computerized property management system.
  • Follow and maintain an accurate Budget Control System and Purchase Order system.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD (where applicable) and company policy, including all necessary documents.
  • Prepare and transmit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the proper personnel.
  • Process invoices for payment promptly and accurately.
  • Assign specific financial and clerical duties to office personnel and monitor their performance.
  • Conduct training sessions on a monthly basis.
  • Operate the project within budget and spending limit guidelines.
  • Supervise all project employees, including hiring and firing per company policy.
  • Keep the Portfolio Manager informed of progress on major projects.
  • Supervise on-site personnel on management-resident relations and develop a genuine concern for resident welfare.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
