Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team for an immediate travel position in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience and hold certifications in NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment, ensuring proper function and reporting malfunctions to the director.
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and respond to emergent situations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • NBRC-RRT certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and NRP certifications may be required in some areas
