Job Overview

Mission Critical CNC Programmer Needed at Marion Manufacturing

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled CNC programmer and machinist. As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for setting up and creating programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines using Autodesk Fusion or Mastercam.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and create CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines
  • Use proper methodology and cutting tools to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards
  • Design and programming of tooling for machining and checking machined parts
  • Create detailed setup sheets based on current shop practice
  • Revise programs as needed based on engineering or production required changes
  • Participate in troubleshooting on CNC programming related and production related issues on the shop floor

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation, preferably with 4 and 5-axis machines. Additionally, experience in FULL-TIME CNC programming of 4 and 5-axis machines with Catia V5 and/or Mastercam X4 or above is preferred.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation, preferably with 4 and 5-axis machines
  • General knowledge of G Code
  • General knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection tool usage
  • General computer and Microsoft office skills
