Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Role

As a Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of our mission to deliver high-quality services and individualized supports that foster growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services, program participant evaluations, and supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for each participant, ensuring timely and appropriate program documentation.
  • Administer innovative treatment programs, communicate treatment needs to staff, and perform home evaluations as necessary.
  • Maintain a collaborative approach with physicians, staff, professionals, and community resources to ensure the effectiveness of occupational therapy programs.
  • Participate in in-service programs, contribute to departmental budget maintenance, and adhere to Service Monitoring System (SMS) standards.
  • Direct and supervise assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • One year of human services experience.
  • One year of experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred.
  • Licensed OT/L in state and a member in good standing with AOTA.
