Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Lending Specialist to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our Wealth Private Banking group, you will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and resolving complex loan documentation and servicing issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Portfolio Management: Manage loan portfolios from preliminary information through financial gathering, application, ordering appraisal, scheduling closings, and completing required paperwork.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners, clients, and third-party providers to move loans through the application to closing process.
  • Business Expertise: Act as a resource in loan process/procedure and regulatory compliance of the complete lending process.
  • Loan Booking and Funding: Ensure that all proper procedures are followed prior to loan funding or fulfilling draw requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in Consumer Lending, Portfolio Management, or Mortgage Processing.
  • High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Consumer Lending, Portfolio Management, or Mortgage Processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Consumer Lending, Portfolio Management, or Mortgage Processing.
