Internship Role:
The primary responsibility of the intern will be to provide technical assistance to the Bosch Research team, focusing on the development of electrochemical test stands. This role involves:

  • Creating NI LabVIEW programs to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Fabricating frames and fixtures necessary for test rigs.
  • Wiring and setting up test benches for optimal functionality.
  • Documenting all processes and drafting comprehensive test plans.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Pursuing or holding a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with NI LabVIEW software and instrument data acquisition techniques.
  • Experience in data processing and interpretation.
  • A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for teamwork.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

Preferred:

  • Certification as a Lab Developer.
  • Experience with Gamry Instruments and their software.
  • Hands-on experience in constructing testing hardware.
  • Practical experience in laboratory settings.
  • Knowledge of electrochemical testing hardware design.
  • Experience in automating data analysis and scripting.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.

Compensation:
The U.S. base salary range for this internship is $30.00-$40.00, determined by various factors including education, experience, and role complexity.
