Job Summary: Ignis Global Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Suppression Systems Designer Specialist to join our team. This full-time position involves designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of fire suppression systems in Ohio.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

\
  • Develop and implement fire suppression systems that meet local, national, and manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality designs and ensure smooth system installation.
  • Conduct site visits to verify accurate system design and successful installation.
  • Interpret project specifications from customers to implement effective solutions.
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and update system documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Maintain existing drawings for system enhancements or modifications.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the company and among clients.
  • Support office staff with engineering-related tasks and system documentation.
  • Offer assistance during system inspections, maintenance, startups, and commissioning as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in AutoCAD 2D drafting and familiarity with 3D design software.
  • Strong grasp of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Clear and concise communication skills to convey complex technical information.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and staying current with industry developments.
  • Commitment to obtaining NICET certification.
  • Self-driven individual seeking continuous improvement in design methods and processes.
