About the RoleThe ER RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of problems, from life-threatening conditions to minor injuries or illnesses. You will work in a 34-bed unit that serves 55,000 patients each year and is committed to providing high-quality and compassionate care close to home.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
