About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a critical role in our Bariatric Program, working closely with the surgical team to prepare patients for metabolic and bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessments and evaluations to ensure patients are prepared mentally and emotionally for surgery
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' psychosocial needs
  • Provide short-term therapy and counseling to patients as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and provide education to patients and their families
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • New Mexico Psychology License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
