Position Summary:
As a seasoned Pipe Foreman, you will lead and manage a crew of skilled workers to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely construction of projects. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate reporting records, ensuring equipment operation and maintenance, and promoting a positive crew attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and organize people, equipment, tools, and materials to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, and conduct regular toolbox meetings to communicate safety concerns and work scope.
  • Develop and maintain accurate reporting records, including job quantities, productivity rates, and time sheets.
  • Assist in developing weekly schedules and carrying out sequence of activities for assigned crews.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and ensure timely completion of work assignments within estimated costs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in the field or related area.
  • Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under supervision.
  • Ability to perform task planning, safely and efficiently carry out work assignments, and train/teach safety practices.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling, material control, and unit manhour performance, estimating fundamentals, and job cost management systems.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with craft workers and management.
Working Conditions:
  • Constantly move about a construction/industrial site, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
  • Experience as a Foreman is required.
  • Will be in charge of the Carbon & Stainless Steel underground welding and installation crew/team.
  • Constantly work in a construction environment, exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions.
  • Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
