UnityPoint Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Emergency Medicine team at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and interpret patient information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and support staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Work in a Level III Trauma Center with a high-volume emergency department, seeing an average of 72 patients per 24 hours.
- Participate in a 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients.
- Utilize a fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination.
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or a related field.
- Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred.
- Unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
