We are seeking a skilled Air Import Agent to join our team at Ceva Logistics. As an Air Import Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of our customers' import shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and direct the flow of air traffic to overseas destinations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of shipments.
- Prepare and process documentation, including way-billing and shipping manifests, to facilitate customs clearance and other regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate with customers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and arrive at mutually beneficial agreements.
- Examine invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance with tariff and customs regulations.
- Prepare reports and other documentation to facilitate billing and other business processes.
- Correspond with our global network to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Take ownership of moving shipments on time and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Correct errors and discrepancies as requested by supervisors.
- Collaborate with the Air Import Manager to implement and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field, with advanced education a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional support to clients.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage workload efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 1-2 years of experience with Cargo Wise.
