Direct Support Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Direct Support Staff to join our team at Network Human Services. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Provide all aspects of direct resident care, including activities of daily living, individual plan goal activities, socialization, and development of meaningful interpersonal relationships.
- Residence Maintenance: Participate in routine residence maintenance, including upkeep of the residence and surrounding areas.
- Documentation: Accurately document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic resident status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and ongoing inter-staff communication.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the residential care team to ensure seamless care and support for our residents.
- Confidentiality: Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legislation and policies.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Obtain and maintain medication certification, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to assist residents with physical needs, including lifting and using adaptive equipment.
This is a part-time position, with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
