We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to lead our team at SSM Health. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing unit staffing, ensuring implementation of clinical objectives, and providing high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThis is a full-time evening shift position with 40 scheduled hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of registered nurse experience and be licensed in Illinois or Missouri. You will work closely with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes and respond to patient care complaints through established channels.
Responsibilities- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments, ensuring population-appropriate care.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
- Evaluate patient care effectiveness and identify issues affecting desired outcomes.
- Respond to patient care complaints and manage through established channels.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- One year of registered nurse experience.
