We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team as a Financial Analyst in the Global Business Segment of a leading Manufacturer in Itasca, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Accounting: Prepare and review general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Month-End Close Procedures: Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Project Accounting: Manage project accounting and tracking for service-related projects, including project analysis and profitability assessments.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SAP and/or Concur, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
