About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team at Apogee Research LLC in Arlington, VA. This full-time position involves managing contracts with DoD customers and requires a strong understanding of contract types such as CPFF, T&M, FFP, and OTA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to ensure timely funding and government approvals.
  • Execute contracts on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with technical scope.
  • Submit high-quality contractual deliverables on time.
  • Collaborate with technical, IT, security, management, finance, and accounting teams to prevent last-minute emergencies.
  • Plan and manage staff allocations for project success in a dynamic research environment.
  • Manage proposals, including authoring programmatic sections.
  • Track project progress, finance, and budget, and report on project status.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a program manager (performer side) for DoD contract types.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines, delivering contract deliverables, and financial attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer, team, and senior management interaction skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Eligibility for a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SAP/SCI.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
