{"Overview": "At Mercy Ardmore, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Our team of dedicated nurses works closely with patients to help them regain their independence and return to their normal lives.

Our unit is a 20-bed facility that averages 11 patients per day. We care for patients of all ages over 16, but most patients are 65 years and older. The main diagnoses treated on Rehab are strokes, hip fractures, major multiple fractures, brain injuries, complicated joint replacements, debility caused by illness, and many other impairments.

As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Some of the procedures performed on the unit include medication administration, foley placement and care, IV placement and management, PEG tube management, PICC line management, functional scoring, wound care, and occasionally tracheostomy care.

**Qualifications:**

* Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
* Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
* Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
* Experience: Can be a new or experienced RN
* Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
