About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery, you will be part of a dedicated team providing top-notch care to expectant mothers and their newborns. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, from prenatal care to postpartum support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a culture of empathy and understanding
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Texas or Compact State Nursing License – RN
- NRP Certification (Chapters 1-9) within 3 months of hire or immediately with Newborn, Labor and Delivery/Antepartum experience
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or immediately if required at previous employer
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring through AWHONN within 6 months from finish of floor orientation
