About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery, you will be part of a dedicated team providing top-notch care to expectant mothers and their newborns. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, from prenatal care to postpartum support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a culture of empathy and understanding
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Texas or Compact State Nursing License – RN
  • NRP Certification (Chapters 1-9) within 3 months of hire or immediately with Newborn, Labor and Delivery/Antepartum experience
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or immediately if required at previous employer
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring through AWHONN within 6 months from finish of floor orientation
