Job Description

Nation Security is seeking a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to join our team in an integral position. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and utilizing QuickBooks for tracking financial transactions. We are looking for individuals who are experienced problem-solvers, highly organized, and time-efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify that transactions are accurately recorded in the correct daybook, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, record maintenance, and generate financial reports.
  • Ensure efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
  • Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant, or a similar role.
  • Must demonstrate exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, and basic accounting systems.
Compensation

$38,000 - $50,000 yearly
