Custodial Specialist

About the Role:

Prestige Maintenance USA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and buffers, to clean floors and surfaces.
• Restock supplies and maintain janitorial closets to ensure a smooth operation.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Work effectively individually and as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cleaning and sanitizing washrooms.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Working Conditions:

• May work nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• May be required to travel locally using personal vehicle.
