Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our residential solar engineering team at Trinity Solar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing residential solar installation projects, ensuring they meet local, state, and federal engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documents for project design, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Stamp structural designs for residential solar projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure client needs and internal deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate structural related issues with CAD design team.
  • Provide engineering expertise in the design, analysis, and evaluation of residential solar installation projects.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project designs.
  • Maintain project schedules and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Licensed structural engineer with experience in residential engineering projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license and willingness to obtain licenses in multiple states.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Experience with stamping structural designs for residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to residential construction projects.
