Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs on all manufacturing equipment
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Plan, maintain, and fabricate replacement parts using fabrication and machining equipment
  • Perform basic to complex grounds and facilities repairs
  • Ensure accuracy of records and safety in all operations
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance customers
  • Perform approved maintenance work, specific jobs, preventive maintenance, and work orders as appropriate
  • Meet work specifications and quality standards for each assignment
  • Ensure job completion and quality
  • Perform clean as you go and maintain housekeeping standards
  • Ensure orderly shift changeover and complete briefs
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and document results
  • Record and report all daily time distribution
  • Follow daily work schedules
  • Ensure orderly conduct with respect to company policy
  • Identify needed parts to repair equipment and facility
  • Complete required paperwork to order new parts and track existing parts
  • Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnel
  • Seek ways to conserve resources and improve costs and efficiency

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
