Medical Assistant Primary Care Specialist

Job Summary
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to healthcare professionals in our Primary Care Practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, including preparing patients for visits and providing specific services and education as determined by providers.
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining electronic health records and updating patient information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
- 1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required within 120 days of hire.
