Bristow Group is consistently on the lookout for exceptional individuals to enhance our team.
We are currently inviting applications for VFR and IFR Pilot in Command (PIC) positions, as well as IFR Second in Command (SIC) helicopter pilots to support the offshore oil and gas sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate assigned aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to Bristow's operational standards and all relevant regulations;
  • Prioritize safety and customer service in all actions, both in and out of the aircraft;
  • Maintain situational awareness across the operational area, considering weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state, and customer facility status;
  • Oversee passenger and aircraft movements, briefings, and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance;
  • Complete necessary flight planning documentation, preflight checks, fueling, and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance;
  • Accurately maintain both electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times;
  • Report any mechanical irregularities by documenting them in the aircraft's technical log and ensure airworthiness before, during, and after flights;
  • Facilitate effective communication with customers, ensuring Bristow is represented professionally;
  • Primarily operate in the Gulf of Mexico offshore region, while remaining available for dispatch to other locations, including international assignments as business needs dictate;
  • Stay informed on all Bristow operational and safety protocols;
  • Comply with additional duties and assignments as directed by the Lead Pilot or Operations Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications as specified by (14 CFR);
  • Must possess a 1st class medical certificate;
  • Completion of the position's screening questionnaire is required for eligibility consideration;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential;
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload are necessary;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team are required;
  • Must hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument rating;

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 year of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry;
  • ATP certification;
  • 1,500 hours as PIC in helicopters;
  • 100 hours of offshore flying experience;
  • 100 hours of flying within the last 12 months.
