We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow/Trainee to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes through innovative research and treatment strategies.

As a member of our research group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to ADPKD and its potential therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute research projects using mouse/rat models to investigate ADPKD mechanisms.
• Collaborate with graduate students and research technicians within the Hopp lab to achieve project goals.
• Present research findings at national conferences and publish manuscripts in top-tier journals.
• Participate in departmental meetings and workshops to stay updated on the latest developments in PKD research.

Qualifications

• A PhD or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in research, including degree years, with a focus on mouse colony maintenance and preclinical trial execution.
• Expertise in standard wet bench laboratory methods and software applications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research environment.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $68,964 - $74,088, depending on experience. The University of Colorado offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and generous leave time.
