About UsThe Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is internationally recognized for its clinical and research programs in polycystic kidney disease (PKD). We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow/Trainee to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes through innovative research and treatment strategies.As a member of our research group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to ADPKD and its potential therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute research projects using mouse/rat models to investigate ADPKD mechanisms.
- Collaborate with graduate students and research technicians within the Hopp lab to achieve project goals.
- Present research findings at national conferences and publish manuscripts in top-tier journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings and workshops to stay updated on the latest developments in PKD research.
Qualifications
- A PhD or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in research, including degree years, with a focus on mouse colony maintenance and preclinical trial execution.
- Expertise in standard wet bench laboratory methods and software applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research environment.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $68,964 - $74,088, depending on experience. The University of Colorado offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and generous leave time.
