Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

We are looking for a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team at Robinson. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks and fabricating metal components to exact specifications.
About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will work within a dynamic team environment to utilize cutting and shaping equipment, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure efficient production workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize cutting and shaping equipment such as saws, plasma cutters, and shears to prepare materials for welding and fabrication processes.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and weld metal components, ensuring adherence to dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, ensuring efficient production workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding and fabrication preferred.
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with a strong understanding of welding principles and metallurgy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
