Role Summary:
The Project Financial Controller is tasked with managing all facets of project finance and oversight, delivering insights that facilitate strategic decision-making. This position demands a meticulous and analytical individual with a robust grasp of project finance principles and practices within a service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the financial management of multiple projects, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor project costs and revenues, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and company policies.
  • Prepare and assess project profitability reports.
  • Guarantee project compliance with established management protocols.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to formulate and sustain project budgets.
  • Evaluate project performance and engage with project leaders regarding budget discrepancies.
  • Manage the invoicing process, including the preparation and dispatch of client bills.
  • Track and reconcile project billing, collections, and accounts receivable to maintain effective working capital.
  • Address client inquiries related to financial and billing matters.
  • Work alongside project leaders, finance team members, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project management.
  • Lead the project accounting team, establishing expectations and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline within project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance, ideally within the consulting sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project finance principles, practices, and software (e.g., ERP systems, accounting software).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in reporting and analysis.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
