Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance using a computerized maintenance work order system.
* Provide written records of work completed on a daily basis.
* Communicate with Supervisors personally or through electronic forms of communication.

Requirements:

* Minimum of three to five year's recent full-time experience as an HVAC Mechanic working for a licensed contractor, or maintenance organization.
* Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic.
* High school diploma.
* EPA Universal Recovery License.
* Proficient knowledge and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration systems and controls.
* Must be able to read and understand plans, blueprints, and schematics related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently.
* Ability to work from written or verbal instructions.
* Skills in the use of equipment and tools used in the trade.
* Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
* Must be able to communicate orally, read, comprehend, write, reason and analyze and perform calculations.
* Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk, climb, push/pull, kneel, handle objects (manual dexterity), reach above shoulder level, and use fine finger movements.
* Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Sheet Metal License.
* Oil Burner Mechanic's license.
* Experience with and an understanding of Direct Digital Controls (DDC), preferably Johnson Controls and/or Schneider energy management systems.
