Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in a dynamic educational setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing direct support to students with communication disorders, implementing evidence-based speech therapy techniques, and collaborating with educators and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication skills.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and individualized education.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure that students receive a coordinated and effective education.
  • Perform on-site evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Supervise and mentor Speech Language Pathology Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality services to students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of employment.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working with students with communication disorders in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and other professionals.
