We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Float Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Psychiatric Float Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in our psychiatric unit, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care and treatment.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a behavioral health setting.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
