Nursing Care Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at McLean Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within our in-patient units and the Clinical Evaluation Center. Your primary focus will be on assessing patients' needs, identifying potential crisis situations, and implementing effective interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Identify and de-escalate crisis situations using non-verbal and verbal techniques
  • Administer medications safely and accurately
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BSN preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
