Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a reputable school district located in Dover, DE. This is a full-time contract opportunity (35 hours per week) for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Delaware.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not required for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
