Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Team Lead to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all mechanical system activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet service and delivery schedules.
  2. Assist management with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians, providing guidance on proper procedures and techniques.
  3. Assess strengths and weaknesses of subordinates, applying strengths for maximum job efficiency and providing growth opportunities.
  4. Ensure all required components are ordered for timely availability, receiving and inspecting items upon return.
  5. Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, Customer Bulletins, and other procedures related to aircraft maintenance.
  6. Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, demonstrating the ability to consistently perform assigned tasks within quoted or standard time.
  7. Perform post and pre-flight inspections, troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions, and following standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment.
  8. Assist in maintaining work schedules and updating CMP cards, reviewing work to ensure compliance with Gulfstream Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
  9. Review daily job charging to ensure accuracy of charges to aircraft.

Requirements:

  1. Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance, including aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, engine removal, installation, and rigging.
  2. Advanced working knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials, including maintenance manuals, IPCs, and structural repair manuals.
  3. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
