House Supervisor

The House Supervisor is a critical role within our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's services. As a Registered Nurse with administrative responsibilities, you will be the point of contact for all departmental service functions on your shift.

• Monitor the delivery of care and oversee the quality of services
• Direct patient care activities as needed and ensure efficient operations and patient flow
• Supervise and support all staff house-wide, communicating effectively to ensure seamless service delivery
• In the absence of hospital administrative staff, assume extended administrative scope and responsibility
• Ensure temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy
• Assist medical staff with scheduling after-hour procedures and calling in stand-by call staff members
• Enhance the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
• PALS (AHA) certificate preferred
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
