Job Summary

This position is an excellent opportunity to join our team at Maine Medical Center as a Physical Therapist in our outpatient department. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic pre and post surgical, neurological, medically debilitated, lymphedema, pelvic floor, vestibular, and more.

Our clinic sees a range of patients, and our staff have specialty training in aquatics, LSVT Big program, Orthopedic Specialty, Pelvic Floor specialists, Lymphedema Specialists, Vestibular Certified, and more. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program
  • Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department
