Travel Occupational Therapist for San Francisco Area Schools

**Occupational Therapist Opportunity in the San Francisco Area**
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the San Francisco area. As a contract employee with AB Staffing Solutions, you will work with students in various schools within the Greater San Francisco area.
Job Summary:
- Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
- Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
- Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
- Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
About the Role:
- This is a contract position through the 2024/2025 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- The contract follows the academic district calendar.
- You will be required to travel to different locations within the assigned district.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university, Master's Degree a plus.
- CA Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L).
- Great communication skills with parents, students, and team members.
- 1+ years of relevant experience; successful therapy experience in an educational setting preferred.
- Ability to uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $63-$81/hr.
- $2,520.00 - $3,240.00/week based on 40 hours.
- $1,000 Sign-on bonus.
- Travel and Hotel expenses reimbursement.
- Weekly direct deposit every Friday.
- Benefits Available include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
