Job Summary

Tennessee Retina is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering exceptional eye care services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient workups, obtain medical histories, and conduct specialized diagnostic testing
  • Travel to satellite locations to provide medical support
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Assist with general clinic support functions, including maintaining electronic medical records
  • Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and staff

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in ophthalmology
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
