About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Rehab Department at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, NJ.
Responsibilities:- Practice within the organizational professional practice model.
- Provide patient care through the application of the nursing process and accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives to identify potential and actual problems and opportunities to provide care that is safe, timely, efficient, effective, and equitable.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to evaluate and integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient and family preferences and values for the delivery of optimal healthcare and system effectiveness.
- Engage in leadership roles to promote effective changes within a complex care delivery system supporting the vision of Penn Medicine.
- Provide person- and family-centered care by recognizing the patient (or the patient's designee) as the source of control and a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for the patient's preferences, values, and needs.
- Participate in team development and demonstrate team values that orient people to care about performance and the success of others and the organization.
- Utilize technology and informatics to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision making across the continuum.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- Registered Nurse - NJ (Required)
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (required prior to first day of hire)
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN
