Machinist I

Paradigm Precision is seeking a skilled Machinist I to join our team. As a Machinist I, you will be responsible for performing basic machining processes and learning more complex processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 5-axis CNC creep feed grinders, conventional EDMs, and 5-axis turn/mills
• Perform precision machining tasks, including grinding, milling, and turning
• Load and delete programs in the computer
• Assist in checking parts using specified gages or check parts using furnished fixtures
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Follow all applicable safety rules and precautions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience
• Able to read, write, and speak in standard English
• Knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude
