Job Summary

The Nurse-Resident role is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Nurse-Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in the Orthopedic Surgery unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Implement and manage patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
  • BLS required.
