Assured Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Job OverviewWe are currently hiring a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Fort Pierce, Florida. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with various cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures by positioning them on the procedure table, administering medications as needed, and conducting pre-procedure checks.
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment to provide real-time imaging during procedures, working closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and minimize patient risk.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A current state license as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with a strong background in cardiovascular procedures and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
This travel position offers a competitive salary package, including:
- Weekly pay based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
