Camp Counselors are expected to participate in camp activities, build relationships with campers, and have fun while ensuring their physical and emotional safety.
The role also involves working with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
Cooperation with fellow counselors and the Camp Director is essential, as is greeting families and campers upon arrival and supporting the establishment of rules and emergency procedures.
Daily swim time supervision is also required, although lifeguard certification is not necessary.
Counselors will be responsible for participating in all camp activities, supervising daily swim time, and helping out where needed.
