Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team at Voce. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting the SWAN Legal Services Initiative (LSI) by drafting legal documents, participating in court hearings, and assisting with witness preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting legal documents, including petitions, orders, and motions
• Participating in county court hearings and pre-hearing conferences
• Assisting with witness preparation and training
• Facilitating LSI training topics and supporting county best practices
• Conducting diligent searches to locate parents, relatives, or other potential permanency resources

Requirements:

• General knowledge or work experience in legal or child welfare
• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience considered in lieu of degree and/or certification
