Job Summary:

Total Care ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting clients in reaching their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans: Work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide ABA Therapy: Provide hands-on support and implement behavior intervention plans to help clients acquire new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve their overall quality of life.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection methods.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in acquiring and mastering skills across various domains, including communication, social interaction, self-help, and academic skills.
  • Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify behavior intervention plans based on client progress and needs.
  • Professional Development: Participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in ABA therapy.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus.
  • Certification: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience: Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
