Architectural Designer

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to collaborate with our team in developing high-profile projects throughout the region. As an Architectural Designer, you will work closely with owners, contractors, and engineers to ensure designs meet quality control objectives and project goals are met within the schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with stakeholders from initial planning stages through final construction.
- Determine design criteria using relevant codes and standards.
- Develop contract documents, including construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce schematic and detailed designs, evaluating planning and concept alternatives.
- Coordinate building department and government agency application paperwork and filing.
- Review shop drawings and RFI's.
- Perform field inspections and write inspection reports.
- Familiarity with latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Entry Level: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Intermediate Level: Master's degree in Architecture, 3+ years of related work experience in residential and commercial building, familiarity with NYC zoning, building, and energy code.
- Advanced Level: Master's degree in Architecture, 8+ years of related work experience in residential and commercial building, familiarity with NYC zoning, building, and energy code, NYS RA License.
