**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting medical practitioners during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and the smooth operation of the operating room.

**Responsibilities:**

* Prepare the surgery area, maintaining safety standards and stocking supplies
* Assist the surgical team, including preparing patients for surgery and maintaining a sterile environment
* Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth operation of the operating room
* Maintain accurate records and reports

**Requirements:**

* Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
* 1-2 years of experience as a surgical technologist
* Certification as a surgical technician
* Strong understanding of sterile techniques, human anatomy, and surgical procedures
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of concentration
