Infojini Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Traveling Operating Room Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced OR environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the OR, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in OR nursing.
Requirements:
- At least two years of recent experience in the OR, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced OR environment.
- Travel experience preferred.
Unit Details:
- Nurse-patient ratio of 1:5 in the OR.
- Meditech charting system used in the facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for all staff, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for RNs, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week, with 1 weekend call every 4-5 weeks.
