Job Summary:
Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our client's growing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee hospitalized pediatric patients and conduct well-baby rounding
- Consult between the department of pediatrics and family medicine
- Teach and mentor department of surgery, family medicine, and PA students
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals in a 10+ bed inpatient pediatric unit with a daily census of 6-7
- Manage a 30+ bed well-baby nursery with an average daily census of 12-13
- Collaborate with Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians in an 8-bed Pediatric Emergency Medicine unit
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Valid CT medical license
- New graduates and experienced providers welcome
