Food Service Leadership Position

Are you a motivated and organized individual looking for a challenging role in a structured correctional environment? We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Lead Cook to join our team at the Cheboygan County Jail in Cheboygan, MI.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and instruct meal preparations, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
* Read and follow company recipes
* Lift up to 50 pounds
* Work well in a structured correctional environment

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
* Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00am - 6:00pm)
* Clearance approval into the facility

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package, including minimum pay starting at $17.00 an hour, 401K, paid time off, and more. Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we can train the right person.
