Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for scheduled operative procedures by arranging sterile setups and maintaining a sterile field throughout the case.
  • Pass instruments, sponges, sutures, and other sterile supplies to surgeons and assist during procedures.
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments used during surgery and assist with dressing of the operative site following closing.
  • Assist RNs with circulating duties, such as opening supplies, assisting with positioning, and obtaining equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an associate degree in Surgical Technology and active certification as a Surgical Tech.
  • OR two (2) years of surgical technologist experience and active certification as a surgical technologist.
